I BUILT THIS HOUSE FOR YOU

I hurry home every day because there you are, my daughters, for whom I live and who are my whole world. I leave the centre of the metropolis before rush hour, to cross the city and jump into the suburbs. I can hear my car engine roaring, I'm in a hurry, a big hurry. On the way, I'll stop for a minute at the flower shop, I know you like peonies, I know you've been waiting for me. I'll leave the noisy city, walk through the forest and along the lake, and there, among the pines and oaks, is our house. We built it together, in a hurry because we knew that our little girl would soon be born. We wanted her so much, we were waiting for her so long. Our house is in the middle of a dense forest with fresh, pure air, a beautiful park, a large terrace and an incredible atmosphere of comfort. The house smells of dinner and the fireplace where the wood is burning, it's always cosy at home, and harmony lives here. I'll walk through the living room and, through the big windows, I'll see you on the terrace, sitting quietly in an armchair, holding our daughter in your arms and enjoying the spring birdsong. She has your beauty, your curly red hair and endless stars in her eyes. I built this house for you, for those who mean everything to me.
